Water Powered Car!

Water Powered Car!! - Suzuki Samurai Runs on 100% Water [witts.ws]

I've been coming across these 'never mind the gasoline, you can run your car on water!' videos for some time but never really paid much attention to them; until now, that is. They seem to fall into one of three categories. There's the 'Wow you won't believe this!' variety that simply attempts to announce and celebrate this important breakthrough for mankind. There's the '... and you can do it, too!' variety that explains how the vehicles who "burn" water instead of gas work, some of them giving directions on how to do the modifications. And there's the conspiracy variety that announce "inventor jailed by government that doesn't want you to know about this!" OR the "scientist murdered by corrupt oil interests to keep this breakthrough a secret" variety.

On a personal level, I'd like to begin by knowing whether or not all of these videos are perpetuating a myth. Is this really true? Really possible? And then I'd like to know why this is not well acknowledged, well known.

I find it fascinating that there are so many of these videos and many of them are so popular. But, of course, in our World Wide Web age, anyone can publish anything, pretty much and so the fact that they are there and being watched is testament to the appeal of ideas, not proof of truth behind them. By the way, there are other types of videos that seem to have similar numbers proving something-er-other; there's videos 'proving' our need to purchase Gold for economic security and the need to go back on the Gold Standard to straighten out the World's economy, the existence of ghosts and Sasquatch, and on and on. YouTube is a fascinating, perplexing free-for-all of content. So go to the YouTube search function and explore. You'll be glad you did! :)
